About Me
I am a qualified Holistic Therapist based in the village of Croft in Warrington, Cheshire. I felt the calling to train in this career whilst I was a teacher. Having been a teacher for a number of years, I deep down felt that it was not the career for me. I felt an immediate affiliation to holistic therapies, as I wanted to help people, not only physically but also mentally. I felt that I wanted to give all that I could to ease suffering and discontent. And so my journey began and it hasn't ended yet! I gained my VTCT diploma in Holistic Therapies from Sheffield College, which covers Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Swedish Body Massage and Anatomy and Physiology. But I was truly bitten by the bug and wanted to expand into more treatments. I therefore gained my Reiki I and then my Reiki II diploma. But the bug keeps biting! Since then, I have completed diplomas in Russian Honey and Cupping Massage, Tibetan Acupressure Head Massage, Sports Remedial Massage and Facial Treatments. So if you're looking for something a bit different, why not give one of them a go? I am a member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists (ICHT) as well as the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), who also fully insure me. Aside from holistic therapies, I am quite sporting, and enjoy a good run or workout at the gym. I am a qualified Advanced Open Water scuba diver, which I would love to indulge in more. I also practise Ashtanga Yoga and am a strict vegetarian. And I have three lovely, if somewhat dizzy greyhounds to keep me entertained. So keep an eye out for any relevant information on any of these subjects on my blog. Hopefully, this website has answered any questions that you might have and persuaded you to give holistic therapies a go. ![]() |
